Newly Qualified Search Technicians

Newly Qualified Search Technicians

You may have seen the team roaming around Bradgate Park last Sunday. This was a training session for the 12 members that joined the team during our 2022 intake. During the day the team carried out a number of search scenarios across the park, demonstrating all the skills they have learned during their probationary period. We are delighted they all passed with flying colours and now join the team as fully operational Search Technicians.

Training is a vital part of joining the team, where they will have covered topics such as first aid, navigation, radio communications and vital search skills. Our thanks go to the training team within LeicSAR who spend many extra hours supporting and mentoring all new members during their training program an beyond.

If you think you have what it takes to make a difference in your community our current 2023 recruitment window is open right now. Please email recruitment@leicestershire-sar.org.uk for further information, but be quick, the recruitment window closes very soon.
